This training session gives an overview of the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations as it applies to the agricultural industry. Pesticide Safety Awareness

Learn about the hazards of pesticides on farm and how to control them to reduce health and safety risks. Topics include regulations, safe handling, reading labels and data sheets, toxicity and exposures PPE’s, storage and emergency response plan. Skidsteer Safety Awareness

Tractor & Farm Machinery Awareness

WHMIS 2015

This course is designed to educate a worker, supervisor, manager, and/or farmer on the major elements of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). You will look at Understanding the WHMIS system, Identifying Hazard Pictograms, Reading and understanding labels, Safety Data Sheets and how to use, handle and store chemicals on the farm. Este curso está destinado a educar a un trabajador agrícola o supervisor sobre los elementos principales del Sistema de información sobre materiales peligrosos en el lugar de trabajo (WHMIS).
